Penis Enlargement Surgery
There are two procedures involved; lengthening and widening. You can opt for just one, or both. Costing $4,000 - $11,000, surgical enlargement involves severing the fundiform and suspensory ligaments which attach the penis to the pubic bone, and where additional girth is sought, adding the desired bulk by injecting fat obtained by liposuction into the area between the skin and the muscle that makes up the penis. Some surgeons prefer to use a procedure known as an allograft dermal matrix graft, which involves the implantation of human tissue from a donor. The post-operative use of penile weights may or may not be prescribed to maximise penile lengthening. Surgery is not an option widely favored by the medical profession; although individual surgeons claim high levels of patient satisfaction, recent medical studies have suggested that results are not always as successful as they could be - in addition to the normal range of post-operative infections and problems, patients may have to tolerate lumpiness, pubic hair on the penis (because the stretched skin now forms part of the penis), asymmetry in the finished "product", and a possible diminution of sexual function.
